Daredevil Season 2

I seem to remember some people enjoying season 1 of Daredevil, so I was curious who watched/is watching season 2. I finished it yesterday afternoon, had to work it around basketball a bit, but I thought it was really good. I'll avoid spoilers as best I can, but it definitely was right there with season 1 for me. Adding Jon Bernthal to the cast as the Punisher worked really well, he really pulled that role off. I thought it was great, and I highly recommend watching it as soon as you can (that goes for season 1 as well if you haven't watched it already).

It's on my list, but I was having a hard enough time catching up on DVR viewing while taking in as much March Madness as possible. Glad to hear season 2 didn't disappoint.

Okay, finished season 2 over the weekend. Wow. Every bit as good as season 1 and possibly better.

This is probably my favorite current show. Tightly written plot, great character development, smart dialogue, and so well paced that it really holds your attention. Oh yeah, and plenty of fight scenes.

Like @heelz2345 said, Punisher was an outstanding addition to the second season. Also loved the introduction of The Hand. I know very little about the comic book series, so the occult angle was a fascinating development.

Thought the finale was outstanding. They brought in so many new hooks that you know are going to be expanded on in future seasons, plus added the requisite cliffhangers as well. Doesn't look like there's been an official announcement that there will be a season 3, but I'd be very shocked and disappointed if there's not.

Well, the thing is, due to the "connected" aspect of Marvel's projects, as of this point there isn't an official season 3, but Daredevil will be in the Defenders with Jessica Jones (her season 1 was great as well), Luke Cage (who was in Jessica Jones and who has his own show coming later this year), and Iron Fist (who will have a show in early 2017). The Defenders should be released in late 2017, so we should still see Daredevil in some capacity next year. They did announce this week that Punisher will get a spin-off series as well, but no timetable for when it will be released. Beyond that, not exactly sure if/when Daredevil will get a 3rd season, but I expect it will happen given the popularity of the series.

Man DD season two was so gd good. I told myself that I wasn't going to blast right through it like I did with season one. Yeah right - I was less successful than a crack head saving a piece for a special day. Finished it in three days. It's Incredibly written and directed, action packed with a hint of suspense. If you haven't watched it - it's a must see.
