I wasn't surprised that Grimsely struggled with it. If you have the personnel and run it flawlessly at that level, it can be tough to stop. It requires an extremely disciplined defense.

I would've liked to have seen one of Hough, Chambers or Mallard Creek take on New Bern. Not sure it would've been a different outcome, but I think it would've been closer.

Yea, I was hoping for one of the Charlotte teams out of the West but knew Grimsley was a legit option with the size/talent they had in the trenches and the skill positions.

I still chuckle when I think about that interview Jarrett did before we played them. A guy asked about New Bern's unique offense and he mentioned that they were familiar with it having placed Charlotte Catholic. I knew at that moment it was going to be a long night for them as the two offenses he compared were vastly different.
