Defense can make a difference

How many turnovers did UCLA have-- a ton. How many points did UNC score off those turnovers--a ton. How many points did Alford and Hamilton get in the second half with Britt, Berry and Pinson covering them straight up---very little. How many nightmares will Alford have tonight thinking about Britt and Berry being his shadow---a ton.

Even Alford's first half bombs were just tough shots made against good defense. JB was in his grille most times. Holiday didn't get much easy to look at either. Hamilton hurt us more getting lost off screens/switches.

I kept telling my buddies that Berry was the only guard we had that could contain Alford. GREAT run the last five minutes of the first half and thereafter. I hope we will continue to feed Brice down low. He can be a beast!!!
