• Carolina improved to 3-1 overall and 3-0 at Kenan Stadium this year with the 41-14 win over Delaware. Larry Fedora is 24-18 at Carolina and 58-47 in eight seasons as a head coach. Carolina is 3-1 for the first time since 2011.
• Today’s win marked the 18th time in Larry Fedora’s four seasons and the third time in 2015 the Tar Heels scored 40 or more points.
• Carolina gained a season-high 568 yards of total offense (previous was 471 against Illinois). The Tar Heels have gained at least 440 yards in each of the first four games this season.
• Carolina did not punt today. That’s the first time UNC did not punt in a game since a 41-17 win over Maryland on Oct. 15, 1994.
• Carolina out-gained the Blue Hens, 377-24, in passing yards. Mitch Trubisky threw for 312 yards and Marquise Williams added 65 yards.
• The last time UNC allowed less than 50 passing yards was 1996 against Clemson when the Tigers had 41 passing yards.
• Delaware did not complete a pass until the third quarter. All 15 of Delaware’s first downs came on running plays. The Tar Heels came into today’s game ranked 12th in the country in passing yards allowed. Delaware’s 24 passing yards were 119.3 less the opponents averaged in the first three weeks.
• QB Mitch Trubisky completed 17 of 20 passes for 312 yards and four touchdowns and set a single-game UNC record for pass efficiency rating at 282. The previous Tar Heel record was 263.48 by Jason Stanicek vs. Maryland in 1993.
• Trubisky also ran the ball six times for 39 yards. He set single-game career highs for completions, attempts, passing yards and touchdown passes. Trubisky’s 64-yard touchdown pass to Mack Hollins in the third quarter was the longest completion of his career.
• Trubisky also had touchdown passes of 33 yards to Hollins, 10 yards to Bug Howard and 63 yards to Ryan Switzer.

• WR Mack Hollins caught three passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns. He has 10 career touchdown receptions and two career two-TD games (2014 at Virginia). Today was the third time he had 100 or more receiving yards in a game.
• WR Ryan Switzer caught five passes for 89 yards and a 63-yard touchdown. He has nine career receiving touchdowns.
• WR Quinshad Davis caught five passes for 83 yards. He has 168 career receptions for 2,207 yards. He moved past Na Brown (165) and Erik Highsmith (166) for third place in UNC career receptions. Hakeem Nicks (181) and Jarwarski Pollock (177) are the only players in school history with more receptions than Davis.
• Davis also moved past Sam Aiken (2,205) and Dwight Jones (2,163) in career receiving yards. He has 2,207 yards, the fourth most in UNC history. Octavus Barnes is third with 2,398.
• LB Shakeel Rashad led the Carolina defense with a career-high 10 tackles (five solo) and had a tackle for a loss of eight yards.
• LB Jeff Schoettmer made six tackles and had his third career interception.
