Dodd often reveals himself to be less than a master of facts. Here, he asserts: " He led UNC to 10+ win seasons twice."
That is wrong. In 1993, we 10-3. In 1996 we were 10-2. In 1997, Mack was 10-1 of an 11-1 season.
Another error: "No one had done that before (two 10 win seasons) or accomplished that since at North Carolina."
Actually, Dick Crum had a pair of double digit win seasons: 11-1 in 1980 and 10-2 in 1981.
Those are minor slips, but I do not care for Dodd for his many years of ACC and UNC bashing. So I highlight them.
