Polino and McCargo played a bunch this yr, replacing Khaliel and Dillard. Polino even finished a handful of games despite no apparent injury to Khaliel.

In my recollection of yrs past under coach Kap we didn't rotate much at all. Bodine would start and play the entire gm unless he got hurt. Lucas Crowley too. So center rotation seems different this yr.

As for Khaliel/Polino, we'd do a little rotation in the past at guard or tackle, but not this much.

Any thoughts on why?

Small nagging injuries could explain it.

Hopefully, the 2nd team played more to prepare them better for Spring and the 2018 season.

Perhaps it was nagging injuries, but the later could be a good explanation. Like - this yr is botched, let's at least develop some of the younger guys since so many are graduating.
