When Meeks blocked the shot and Jackson dunked it, I'm pretty sure that I blacked out for a few seconds. I kinda lost track of what was going on and remember that weird feeling of "we are going win the national championship" .... although I fully expected us to win, the game had such a bizarre choppy flow to it, the end came QUICKLY and caught me off guard. I really felt like I was dreaming. I remember seeing Hicks crying and Berry with his hands on his head and he looked so confused. I wish I could go back and relive the final minute again for the first time. Wow that was cool

I remember fretting over the last minutes. Then all of a sudden it was like it lightning and thunder at the same time. I never saw the last part of the game till I rewound it. I was to busy dancing a jig across my den. My wife said the house shook when we won. Once of the best feelings I even experienced. I guess kinda like state when they won theirs, except you better hope you don't forget it.

I was standing quietly in the middle of the room, when in a blur Kennedy came flying across for that steal and pass ahead to JBII. I just stood there and smiled...

Was watching with my dad. He was definitely more elated than I was and I say that because I was in stunned disbelief. Like an earlier poster said, the game was so choppy but the final minute zipped by and on a series of plays that I didn't fully expect to go in our favor but did lol.

Didn't black out but was like----"holy crap, we did it, we are the National Champs!"

Almost...I jumped up and yell so fast, I got dizzy.
Yeah I think that's what happened to me ... I jumped out of the chair so fast and high that my head bumped the ceiling fan blade (it was not on). The complete opposite of the emotion at the end of the Nova game.

I posted this in a different thread, but it fits better here......

I have an electronic dartboard between my flat screen tv and the recliner couch where I watch each game. The dartboard case is wooden and juts out 3-4 inches from the wall.
When the Meeks block, Berry pass, and JJ dunk occurred I lost control. Jumped up literally out of slippers and the dartboard put a nice scuff on my back and shoulder. What a spaz and freak I am. I didn't even see the next play (Meeks steal, Berry gets fouled) fully live time.

My family was part happy for me and for the team, but was also part looking at me like I was an alien or was posessed......

I did!! Didn't even remember the Meeks steal until I saw the highlights. There is currently a video at the top of my FB feed of me at a bar on Franklin jumping into one friend's arms and hugging and then running over towards my friend with the camera screaming "WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!". I can't stop watching it because I can't believe how elated I was. Feels good man!!

My behavior during a regular season game is so unpredictable that I try to watch games at home alone. (my family won't even watch games with me, they were upstairs, lol) When those last few plays happened, I was jumping around screaming like a mad man and actually shook some memorabilia off the shelf across the room! I find it interesting that my 2009 championship flag fluttered of the shelf and landed in front of the TV! I am still so happy that coworkers asked about my personality change, lol!

UNC: 7 Time National Champions!

I jumped and like half crouched in front of the TV and stayed here when Justin dunked it. I would have looked insane to any outside observer. When Meeks stole the ball I sort of lost track of time and what was happening, everything was a massive blur. I had trouble sleeping afterwards but every time I woke up I was still somewhat in disbelief. 2005 and 2009 were far more expected for me, I think the pent up frutrastion of last year and all the crap being flung around led me to have a different reaction this time around.

My fiance took a video of me because she knew I'd be losing my mind. It's hysterical and I remember none of it. A ton of jumping and screaming and running down my hallways.

LOL - yep. I recall last year slumping, melting, becoming one with my chair, silent in disbelief - wanting nothing to do with anyone's attempts at consoling.
