I have season tickets for the Colts. I’ve been keeping an eye on our first pick (didn’t have a 1st rnd he was in the 2nd rnd) in the draft during training camp. The kids name is Alec Pierce. Have high hopes for him. I happened to see the local news put a photo of his family up on TV. I wasn’t really paying full attention but I happened to see that his brother was decked out in UNC gear. I said to myself well I like his brother already since he’s a UNC fan and went back doing what I was doing. I heard the news say his last name Pierce again and the bell went off in my head…. Is his brother actually Justin… yep.
Ironically the last game I went to at
Chapel Hill was against Pitt and Justin was on the ticket. I tweeted Alec and said I bet I have something that you have never been asked to autograph before… I tweeted him a photo of my ticket. The funniest part I remember seeing a video of Alec arriving at Indy to visit for the first time after the draft. I went back and watched it and there he was with his family and Justin was with them. Wow couldn’t see the forest through the trees. Lol
