I believe it was just last year that UNC failed to win an ACC title in any sport for the first time in umpteen years. People got a little panicky. Well I'm happy to announce that with only two spring sports left -- Track & Field and Baseball -- UNC is currently in 2nd place in the Directors Cup standings, just 6 points ahead of UCLA.
Of course Stanford is in first place, as they have been for every year of the last decade. Apparently UNC really, really needs to add a women's water polo team.
