North Carolina will probably make the NCAA tournament even if they don't win the ACC tournament, but they should aim for an automatic bid to be safe.
As for an automatic bid ... North Carolina has a 13% chance to win the conference tournament. They probably won't win, but there's an outside chance.
If the Tar Heels can get to 24 total wins (including conference tournament wins), their odds to make the NCAA tournament increase to 97%.
We project the Tar Heels with a 11% chance to make the Sweet Sixteen and a 1% chance to reach the Final Four.

7-2

Im banking on Calebs realization that his unmindful play is at a level that will place him at Carolina next season as motivation to spur him to become consistent down the stretch. That window for him to leave UNC is closing fast. Bacot, Davis, Manek, and Leaky seem to be heading toward more consistent play. Puffs minutes are on the rise and his skill set lifts this teams projection. Walton always a shooter. McCoy for foul trouble games.

I agree with L&M- 7-2 mark from here on out.

The 3 losses in the first half were road losses to what turned into as good of teams that the ACC has to offer this year. Heels are really good at home so far and showed some fight on the road with the Cards... I'm optimistic and I will probably get punished for that!!

8-1! I think we are on a real good trajectory right now! I fully expect us to keep getting better and for our bench to give us steadily increasing contributions!

But the most important thing right now is going 1-0 this weekend!

13-7 sounds about right. That's 5-4 the rest of the way.

Duke twice
@ Clemson
@ Virginia Tech

Rough stretch.

Winning one of the Duke games or beating either Clemson @ Clemson or Va Tech @ Va Tech aren't out of the realm of possibility, but snatching more than 1 of those seems improbable.

And, of course, we have to avoid getting cocky in games like @ NC State or home against Syracuse.

So best outcome I see is 6-3 the rest of the way, giving us a 14-6 final tally.
