Do you hate Milo Yiannopoulos?

There is life outside of OOTB...it's scary, I know, but it's there.

Dude, I'm in front of a computer most of the day doing ratios in Excel and other homework, papers, and projects. It's pretty easy to just flip over to another tab and write a post about something you just thought about. It isn't like I'm sitting on this website 24/7. My TV is right here too, so I could be watching football and post stuff during a commercial. Again, it isn't a big deal. ;)

Don't worry about @dadika13. He's just another stupid yankee.

Now I'm convinced he's a shared burner account for all of you idiots.

In my neck of the woods, we give conservative posters 48 hours. Then we warn them. If they keep posting conservative ideas we usually give them a 1-week ban. If they continue, the ban becomes permanent.

I bet you won't do that here.

I feel bad for the Jews. I especially feel bad for Jews who are just Jewish by birth. Like, I was born to parents who were Protestant. But, I don't practice that religion. Lewis Black, or other "famous" Jews come to mind. They don't give a shit about Hanukkah, or Passover, any more than I care about Easter. I'm aware of it, but, I don't do anything special. When I was a kid I decorated Easter eggs. Jesus appreciated that, I'm sure. Christmas is just Saturnalia with Jesus as a footnote! He wasn't born on December 25th. It's symbolic, like 100% of the Bible... it's symbolic.

From my experience, Jews aren't really held in contempt or scorned or whatever because of their actual religion, and its rituals, beliefs, stories, etc.. Seems to me, the fear of Jews is from the idea that they are dangerous to non-Jewish societies because they allegedly come in and become parasites and manage to gain control of the money source and control the population through that manipulation. It's pretty fukked-up. But, unfortunately, like any stereotype, it happened on more than one occasion and then it became... a stereotype... and, not a very good one.

I watched an English subtitled version of the Nazi propaganda film "Der Erwige Jude" (The Eternal Jew), made in 1940, after the defeat of Poland, and they used a lot of peasant Polish Jews as the subjects of their film. It's pretty interesting to see how committed the Nazis were and the resolve their leadership had to promote the lie and prejudice. I'm sure they believed it was completely factual.

But, their being Hebrew and believing in Adam, Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Moses and Noah, etc., doesn't seem to be a problem. Christians and Muslims believe in all of those people, too. The religion part is sort of misplaced.

The Bible is actually largely responsible for that stereotype. In the original interpretation of usury, any type of lending that involved interest was prohibited. So Christians couldn’t participate in banking. Who was left to do the job? Jewish folks.

This is always why I post things like "thank baby Horus" or "Horus Christ", stuff like that. The similarity in stories is uncanny. Personally, and I haven't done enough research to back this up, but I think Christianity was invented by Constantine to hold a crumbling Roman Empire together.

Christianity existed before Constantine. Constantine simply edited the books to manipulate the Roman populace. It worked.

The Jews were also hated because people didn't think money lending was an honorable job. They felt as though the Jews were trying to put the screws to people by charging interest. When they brought The Fed over to the U.S., they had to use businessmen like J.P. Morgan as a proxy for the Rothschilds because they knew the citizens would have nothing to do with Jewish bankers. You could still see the distaste in WWII when they refused to take them from the Germans.

That could be. Like I said, I really haven't done enough research on the subject. Just look how long the Roman Empire ruled the Western world, up until Martin Luther defied them by sheer accident.

Right... I forgot the usury part. But, they make a good point. Usury is fugged-up! They knew it was fugged-up!

Predatory lending is shitty. But if charging interest were illegal then nobody would be able to get a loan, because nobody would be willing to give them. Not good for business. Or anyone who wants to own a home.

Usury is a cool word.

The Romans were screwed long before Martin Luther.

Top 5 word.

But yeah - interest is fundamentally necessary in lending but I'm all for strict restrictions on usury/predatory lending.

Whoa, Martin Luther brought down the Roman Empire? Are you really saying this?
