True. Because I dont see the point in arguing politics with anyone. For the most part, Everyone is firmly entrenched in their political beliefs. Nobody is going to change their views based on what I, you, or anyone else has to say on this board. I hate myself for foolishly reading through the popcorn thread (too often), when I know what nonsense I'm gonna see. I wish there was an option to ignore a specific thread. So yeah, it's not so much you personally, it's more about the thread itself.
True. Again, I wish I could put the popcorn thread on ignore. Because for the most part your poasts in the non-political threads are ok, and humourous.
But I must say that you do have a unique ability, in that at one time or another you've pretty much pissed off those on the far left, far right, and everyone in between. So... you got that going for ya.
And your take is exactly why I very rarely discuss politics with people in public. I know most people don't want to hear it, and it would be rude to force my beliefs on them. For the record, some people's minds can be changed. I basically pulled a 180 in my political beliefs somewhere in my late 20's. It's possible, but like you stated it's not very probable.
