We never had them where I grew up in rural NC. But, when I would stay with my grandparents for a few weeks every summer, they had a Mr. Fros-Tee with the jingly music from his truck.

I have one in the neighborhood where my office is. And it’s totally sketchy. The music is scary and it’s a minivan that someone converted. I’ve seen it up close too and it sells wack shit. Instead of Klondike Bars, they have something like Yukon Bars. Instead of astropops, they have America Pops. It’s the McDowells of The ice cream truck world.

Yea we have one and i always get #4. Btw after the hurricane and we’re on day 3 of no power and everyones out of food and grocery store had a mile long line he rolled in that evening with a bunch of free tacos with a tip jar. People were literally running and screaming “TACOS!!” Whole neighborhood came out and stood around and ate and talked and it was awesome. I tipped him $20. Jar was crammed full of money. I bet he cleared at least a thousand $ that day easy. And he deserved it.
