They once again have the #1/2 recruiting class in the country coming in next season, and I think they only have 2 Sr's in Young and Grandison?

The guy I hope goes pro is Filipowski. I think he has some Christian Laettner in him, he is mean, has a solid shot and could be an outstanding College basketball player.

I hadn't ever considered that variable! K is the kind of guy that would actually enjoy the lack of continued success with the dookies. If it doesn't prosper, it helps to enrich his own legacy. The last thing he wants is for the attention to go away from his success.

Well (less than Roy at UNC) I am certain that K fervently wants Duke to continue to be successful and continue what he built.
I just sense the is something subconscious in his brain and psyche that believes / confirms a sort of thought that “they had no idea what they were losing when i stepped away; I was / am greatest ever. Nobody will hold a candle to me”
Which isn’t really true. Maybe scheyer won’t succeed as a coach. Who knows? But there are plenty of coaches who - compared to K - are better at it and put more into it, and have achieved more, with less in terms of player talent especially the last 10-15 years. (Few, Jay Wright, Roy, Baylor HC (drew?), Bennett, Self, etc
I think Tony Bennett is a class act and a very good coach. Same with Jay Wright. Bill Self has probably been cheating as long as he's been coaching. That club at Baylor play like thugs and their coach teaches them to be that way.
