I'm either going to celebrate a UNC victory or a bank account increase.

I actually bet against us more than for us. I always worry when I bet for us that it's just with my heart.
I feel like I know the games we will lose just by following the team close enough. Don't root against us, just a nice little consolation prize if we lose a game I thought we'd lose (or not cover).
Why? Because of their size? Then wouldn't our guard play and quickness be a bad match up for them?
I think we need to make at least 10 threes, shoot 75%+ from the FT line and not lose the rebounding battle by more than just a handful. If we can do those 3 things, I think we win.
Hitting 3’s is how we win this game. It’s flipping the usual Duke/UNC match up. Our defense needs to be super aggressive. Especially late. Make them hit tough shots or make FTs.
They're a tough matchup for our defense, but a good matchup for our offense.
The truly "bad" matchups come from teams with length who can defend at a high level. To this point, we've yet to see dook defend anywhere near an elite level.

I’m not sure they are a good matchup either way. Bagley is the type of defender that Maye struggles against since he is long and athletic. We have no idea which Kenny will show up. So, outside of Joel, where do we feel confident our points will come from?
I'm betting all possible ways on Duke tonight.
My bookie is gonna think I'm Jeff Capel with all the money I'm throwing around on 18 year old kids.
I'm thinking Maye will have to be covered by Carter, as Bagley will cover Pinson. I like both of those matchups a lot, as we can stretch both of them to the perimeter and free up the paint. Allen, Trent and Duval are very athletic, but don't stay in front of their men well. I like this offensive matchup a lot as long as we attack hard, pass rapidly and cut with purpose.
A lot will depend on if we actually guard the perimeter. Allen can get red hot and he will if he’s left wide open like we tend to do. Duval is pretty good at penetrating and if we crash down, they will have set shooters waiting.
im having nightmares of gayson tripper hitting a lot of 3s this game. i think the only way we win is if joel,kenny, cam, and luke are knocking down their 3s. it can be done but it will be tough against this dook team.
Less money but more happiness. I'll take it any day of the week.
