Duke at N Carolina game thread—Saturday 8 March 2025

On paper this looks worse that General Custer and the 7th Cavalry at the Little Big Horn but fortunately games are played on the court and not paper

Until I did my prep work for this game I never realized how big this years Duke team is. Their normal starting guards are: Kneppel at 6’7 and Proctor at 6’6. First guard off the bench is: Evan’s also at 6’6. Up front Flagg is:6’9, Maluach stands at: 7’2, and Maliq Brown is 6’9. Every player on the team is 6’6 or taller but one.

Carolina must compete on the glass to have any chance at all to stay in the game and they must do what they earlier in the week and hit a ton of threes.

A crazy home crowd will help Carolina early and hopefully that will be an extra factor in hopes of a major upset. Give em Hell Heels…
