All the other guys are guardable or have exploitable deficiencies, but Jones is scary good.
Mr.Jones, I hear the life of a millionaire is fun!
Heels are Family!

Jones won't be too far behind I should think.

Duke folks are saying Grayson and Kennard can run the point. I love that option...for us.Originally posted by Bur-Heel:

Possibly. K is trying to convince Smith that he can play like Quinn Cook did, but I think Smith really wants to be a PG.Originally posted by Steat:
If K get Thornton does this rule out Dennis Smith to Duke?
Someone needs to get in Grayson Allen's ear and tell him to go pro. Betcha he would be a late first round pick.
And Lousville was actually the team that brought up reclassifying with the Thorntons. They were receptive to the idea so K is trying, too.Originally posted by Sk1310:

And Allen's already said he's coming back. He'll start next year and probably lead the team in scoring while raising his stock, he has no reason to leave. Frankly, anybody who drafts him in the first round based on one game is an idiot and shouldn't be running an NBA franchise.
Tra, Grayson had more than one good game. The kid is explosive. Reminds me of Rex Chapman of Kentucky. Only takes one GM to promise him to go in the first round and he may say bye bye. Heck, I hope Plumlee leaves and goes to the Army before next season. I really don't care who K convinces to come in early to play the point, Tyus Jones is lethal and the kid could have led you to another title. No one in the NCAA is sad to see Tyus leave.Originally posted by TraBuch:

MY GOODNESS. Do we know how to overreact here or what?Originally posted by Steat:

I'll admit that winning another title would be somewhat overboard. There is often some sarcasm in my posts when dealing with Duke fans. On the other hand, Jones and Allen starting backcourt IMO would still be one of the best in the country. Jones on the college level would still be the best point guard in the the country and that should not be up for debate. The kid dominates games just like Ty Lawson. Sometimes you have to give credit to teams even though you hate their guts. Duke would be a top10-15 team with Jones and again that should not be debateable because all the national rating services were saying that. One thing Duke has are shooters and with Kennard coming in he shoots the lights out also. When you have the best point guard in the country you can never be counted out. Top ten with Jones back, not unrealistic. Not one UNC fan can honestly tell you they are sad to see him go.Originally posted by gunslingerdick:

Jones is a very good player. I wouldn't even have a problem with someone thinking he was the best PG in the nation last year even though I wouldn't agree. But let's be real here...he doesn't get the chance to make big plays in a lot of those games if not for Okafor and Winslow. Hell, Okafor simply being on the court made life a lot easier for Jones. I'm not taking away from Jones as a player because like I said, he was really good. But Steph Curry isn't leading duke to a title next year with Grayson Allen, Matt Jones and Amile Jefferson as his running mates. Get real.
