On one hand you can pull for Dook and hand GT a coastal loss and serve them another next week. On the other hand who wants to pull for Dook under any circumstances. Leaning toward a Dook win. I'm torn.....

i want the easiest path to the 2015 "coastal division winner" tee shirt...gatech losing two weeks in a row helps my psyche out the best.

plus, i'll take a page out of the colts playbook and support a banner in the stadium that reads "acc finalist".

Pulling for GT for a few reasons:

1) duck fook
2) GT's matchups against FSU and Clemson already place them at a disadvantage
3) I don't want to face a GT team in Atlanta that's coming off two straight losses

Tarheel11 suggested I change my username to Grape Kool Aid for Larry in the "Remaining Schedule..." thread... so I did the next best thing...
I did no such thing! Pretty sure @UNC71-00 made the Kool-Aid comment lol

As for this thread........I'm okay pulling for Duke actually. GT needs to rack up as many losses as possible (because let's face it, they WILL beat us. It's a formality, just like the SCar game), so they need one to go with their probable FSU and Clemson losses.

Duke looks so-so and will certainly drop 2-3 games from their Coastal slate.

ETA: Yep, I was right, it was 71-00 who did it. See link.

THN has anger issues. Kind of a Napleonic complex, if you get my drift.

I'm just gonna leave this here:

Ding, ding....we have a winner! On every count. Besides, Dook has to lose too....might as well knock them out now. Really, this is a win/win for UNC. One of these two gets down behind the eight-ball via this game, which helps UNC.

Gotta go with Archer on this one. GT losing is better for Carolina, IMO.

Regardless, I think Tech wins

Yep. This is one of those games where you can find a brightsode with any outcome. But I think GT wins running away, pun intended.

I don't think GT losing IS actually better for UNC. All league games count the the same, and Dook gets a full 2 game advantage over GT, most likely, by having Weak and BC cross divisionally vs GT's duo of FSU and Clemson. At some point, we need Dook to lose conf. games, too....GT certainly is going to lose a few (FSU, Clemson, and hopefully UNC). Therefore long-term, I think UNC benefits more from a Dook loss, at this point.

I hate to say it but I will be pulling for Duke. GT always tend to have early ACC losses and comes back at the end so need them go get as many Ls as possible. Duke is not that good, Cutcliffe can't keep up that success at Duke, not happening. They have no QB and their offense is bland. I am not concerned about Duke being in the race at the end.

I agree. d00k obviously has the easier schedule, but I don't think they're nearly as strong as last year.

Be careful what you wish for; sometimes you get it. Dook has an easy road and no losses; GT will know they HAVE to beat us next week. IF we beat them, they'll lose 4-5 ACC games. It will be pretty much up to us and VaTech to stop Dook.

I watched a lot of the Duke game (I have two TV's), and dude you are giving the Devils way too much credit. Their offense looked like pure, pure garbage. Tech just played even worse.
