ESPN staff X-factor for each ACC team

I disagree. I would pick Tribisky. I don't think the defense is going to improve much on their numbers from last season. First, because we lose some key players. Second, because we play a significantly harder schedule. I do expect improvement in execution as guys get more familiar with the scheme and what the staff expects of them. And I hope to see continued improvement in toughness.

But I think the offense is going to largely determine the success of next year's team. We have most of our key skill position players back, with the exception of Quise. Our offensive line should be among the best in the ACC. I think we'll once again have to rely on outscoring teams, as much as it pains me to say it. And that is going to hinge directly on the OL and Mitch's ability to handle the starting QB position.

Unfortunately, we're several DL/LB studs(see my avatar) away from seeing a big improvement on defense.
