I am SO GLAD that marijuana and hemp are FINALLY being decriminalized and even legalized.
When I think back to when I was in elementary school, and junior high, and was indoctrinated that Marijuana was lethal and led to the use of heroin and cocaine, I'm amazed. It was a Scarlet Letter. I don't know how much of it was orchestrated, and who actually knew it was basically harmless and even advantageous, but, having it illegal and making it a schedule 1 "drug" caused immeasurable damage to society. The unnecessary, draconian punishments for possession, etc., is embarrassing.
Soooo... my most gracious THANK YOU to people voting to legalize it, decriminalize it, and the direction it is going overall.

There was no valid reason for it to EVER be scheduled with the narcotics as it was. To prevent research on something with so much obvious therapeutic value was short sighted and stupid.
So mitch mcconnell came out in support of a farm bill which legalizes growing hemp. When i shared it on fb with an “its about time” post i was flooded with replies and dm’s from “concerned parents” of my karate students about the evils of legalizing pot. God the ignorance.
Most of em. Sweep the knee and they go down like the twin towers.
