Drove down right after work this afternoon. Took about 1.5 hours exactly to get here at the Boo Williams Sportsplex here in the Hampton area. Got to see a little more than half of Jayson Tatum's game versus Boo Williams squad, paced by 2017 PG Matt Coleman and 2016 SG/PG Curtis Jones Jr.

Coleman and Jones had OK games overall and Tatum, as is expected had a big game. Simply put, the kid is a pro. He is a whiz ball-handler and scorer at 6-8 and he is so versatile.

Spoke to him after the game and asked why he cut the list to four right before this event. The St Louis junior said he wanted to amp it up and get more serious, while also not wasting other college coaches time. He said UNC made the cut due to their aggressive efforts and time spent recruiting him. He said Roy Williams genuinely cares for him and has invested a lot of time and resources.

He also admitted that the four schools that he has on his list are the ones that he is most comfortable with. The four schools, by the way, are Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina and Saint Louis.
