I'm in Memphis for the second EYBL session, and there was quite a bit to see. The Arizona Unity opened up the event at 2:00 P.M, and I rushed there in time to see Cameron Holmes. The Unity squeaked by Vegas Elite 74-72. Holmes had 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. North Carolina is one of the schools he mentions first. Expect an official visit either in the summer or fall.

Team Takeover defeated Expressions Elite 58-52. If I had to make a player comp for Jordan Smith it would be Sean Taylor. I wouldn't go over the middle if he was the free safety. I don't think he's any bigger than 6-3, but he's a battering ram at point guard. I think the height is why he is dead set on playing on the ball. He had 14 points, 9 rebounds from the guard spot, and a pair of assists. His feet are astounding. Great defender, and he has a lightning quick second jump. He is a literal rim protector at 6-3 in the EYBL. He's trying to block everything.

Hubert Davis and Jeff Lebo were courtside to see C.J. Rosser. 6-9 forward who is the top-ranked player in the 2027 class. He obviously young; skinny and hasn't even begun to tap in on his potential yet. I'm sure this is a player they will offer in the near future.

Team CP3 blew out the New York Lightning 91-69. Cole Cloer hit a pair of three-pointers, and finished with 14 points. He bruised his shooting hand, and he had ice on it after the game. I was blown away by Kohl Rosario. It was my first time watching the Moravian Prep shooting guard in person. I and many of the coaches on hand were blown away. He went 11 of 15 from the field, and 6 of 8 from three-point range. He finished with 28 points. He's probably in the 6-foot-3 range, but he is chiseled and strong looking. He guarded the post on one end, and scored from all three levels on the other. When he wasn't making three's, he was jumping off a trampoline. He has major springs in his feet.
