Should pretty much always be illegal. If dad is coach there when kid is born maybe being the lone exception. Talk about impermissible benefits? This scam of hiring dad or uncle or handler is nothing but a benefit 100% unavailable to any normal student.

There is absolutely no justification for this exception to the rule. If Brooks and Porter don't prove how shady this idea is, nothing ever will! I agree that the only way this should be permissible is if the son/daughter is born while the father is already on staff! If not, the kid should not be allowed to go to the school until the father has been gone for at least two years!

I do not like these hire the coach get the son deals. I think a dad should have to be a coach at the school well before, if up to me then 4 yrs before the kid could commit to the same school. That way no one really can know if the kid will be a star talent or not so dad would not be getting the gig just because his son is a 5 star talent..
