Favorite Thanksgiving food

What's your favorite side dish ?

I always make the deviled eggs, and I'm damn good at it , if I do say so myself. So I always like those. But my favorite side dish has to be one that Mrs. THM makes with pineapple, cheddar cheese and crushed up Ritz crackers. Don't know what she calls it but that is some good stuff.

Broccoli casserole. If Thanksgiving dinner consisted of nothing but a big pile of broccoli casserole on a plate, I'd be perfectly satisfied.

Man I love the casseroles too. Shout out to @coolwaterunc on the broccoli casserole, if done right that's the bomb! I also like the next day turkey sandwiches! Especially if you smoked your turkey.

Oh man we did a swing and a miss on the deviled eggs this year too. Just completely forgot about them and they are usually on the menu.

Cornbread stuffing is the only dish I'm going out of my way to make this year. The rest of my menu is intentionally simple.

Gotta give a shout out to @TarHeelMark for the deviled eggs mention. Didn't have them on the menu, but I friggin' love those things so think I'll go make some right now.

I like it cold but if you ever sit down in front of a bowl of my grandmother's tater salad right off the stove you might would feel me! JS

My dad's family makes this thing called 'The Dish' which is a casserole that is just tremendous. Not sure what all is in it but it is the best thing ever. As for more common fair I love smoked turkey and deviled eggs. I hate some staples though, such as sweet potatoes, whatever that red stuff is, and stuffing or dressing.

It won't replace the standards, but my daughter made some roasted brussel sprouts this year and they were daggum tasty!

I feel compelled to eat Mexican and Chinese food at least once a week . . fortunately, there are excellent restaurants close by for both. I have enjoyed 3 turkey sammiches over the weekend . . and yesterday I snagged an Italian sub at Santini's

Hate to admit, but we aren't the biggest fans of Thanksgiving food, so the pizza is just a "get the taste out of your mouth" routine.
