one tweet said something along the line of "hope my next decision is better than my last" and then "coaches will come into your living room with you and your parents and look you in the eye and lie". Not exactly amicable enjoyed my time stuff.Any info as to why? Speculation welcome.
I saw it on Scout.yikes! but it looks like this tweet "coaches will come into your living room with you and your parents and lookyou in the eye and lie" was taken down or something, yeah? I don't see it anywhere.
That sounds like he assumes he was to start at least by his junior season, and that he so assumes because he was told that by coaches.one tweet said something along the line of "hope my next decision is better than my last" and then "coaches will come into your living room with you and your parents and look you in the eye and lie". I told you.THN11 as you predicted or hinted or something. No passes caught hasn't played since Illinois
I told you.
And I wouldn't read into the tweet. He's just upset that he couldn't earn more playing time. I feel for him, but at the same time......be better if you wanted more playing time. Life is hard.
Relax bro. When I said "I feel for him" but then followed it up with "be better." If he has ill will toward the coaches for not playing him, then he needs to look in a mirror to figure out who's to blame.I don't feel for him. Sorry, in this age of participation awards and no 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards, our children are learning the wrong thing. It is great that you are talented enough to garner a D1 from a major program. Unfortunately, college isn't high school; just like the pros isn't college. Instead of #$%^ and moaning about playing time and/or expecting to be handed a starting position by your Jr. year, get with Austin Prohl and see exactly what this guy is doing. Austin obviously doesn't have an issue since he is sharing time and is the first option off the bench. If you can't beat out the starter, at the very least make it close enough that the coach wants to play you more. No sympathy or empathy; I will just wish him best of luck where ever he lands.
I've been hang wringing about that since before the season started. Switzer, Mack, Bug all gone. And no proven receivers will remain except Proehl. That is scary.I am also reading a lot of hand wringing over our receiving corps for next year.
You're using descriptors like "better than mediocre" and "okay." That in itself is scary. They trusted Jordan F enough to play him in the 4th vs UGA, while they probably weren't confident yet in Jackson/ARW. He had okay hands and routes obviously.
So the fact that ARW, Cunningham and Thomas Jackson were getting more run than Jordan F in recent games is at least good news, meaning they seem better than mediocre.
And ARW looked fast in one of his kick returns the other nite. If Groves, or the 2 highly ranked frosh can block and give us a down-field thread we'll be okay. Cunningham looks like he can go get a fade.

Tyler Smith is recovering from an ACL injury I think , but if you listen to dookies even 2 of those are no concern.Ha! I'm feeling half-full today eh? ARW and Thomas Jackson are super green, ARW was probably still behind center in practice this time last yr. Jackson looks more than 'okay' or mediocre despite his youth. He and Proehl have the middle of the field looking good, i think they can replace Switzer's production.
ARW is strong (in the weightroom at least) and super fast, if his hands and eyes are decent he can be a very good contributor in the future.
As long as guys execute while blocking then the question marks are the deep threat and 'fade' type of guy we're missing. Groves, Roscoe and Tyler Smith are supposed to be speedsters. It's too bad Groves isn't too good to NOT redshirt, but i think we have plenty of pieces to fill in the puzzle at WR.
It's his second major leg injury.Tyler Smith is recovering from an ACL injury I think , but if you listen to dookies even 2 of those are no concern.
Fieulletau was more like 4th or 5th team. I read he ran a 5.1 40 and analysts said his only chance to contribute was as a TE.The Hollins injury has now opened doors for all 2nd and 3rd team WRs. To quit right before that should make you realize the foolishness of your mid-season tantrum.
