Fück that and you.Shutting down the government is fantastic. I support this move 100%. Hopefully they have more spine than the GOP and keep it shutdown for the rest of the year.

You sound like a Republican.Shutdown is costing me a lot of money.
I’m a selfish bastard. We work directly with the government. If I can’t bill them, it makes it hard to pay my staff.Deal breakers for me:
- military
- children's healthcare

I'm in healthcare. They're obviously important to us, too. I was just jabbing you.I’m a selfish bastard. We work directly with the government. If I can’t bill them, it makes it hard to pay my staff.
I know. I’m not taking it seriously. Living in the DC Metro area for a while and I’m used to this shit. Hopefully they re-open today. Each side is so close and just hamstrung over a couple small items.I'm in healthcare. They're obviously important to us, too. I was just jabbing you.
It's my understanding the military was not affected. If military personnel was still being paid, I could get behind a shut-down. Because you know what I always say, "the less govt does, the better we all are." But I know it takes a toll on our service men and women.
They were. Congress however was not. Only reason it may not have affected them was because I believe they are paid on the first and fifteenth. But hey illegals before our military. It's my understanding the military was not affected.
Wrong. Military had to report for duty and would not have been paid if the shutdown lasted to the next payday. It's my understanding the military was not affected.
