Roy being out of time outs when we could have used them at the end of a game!

No that I agree with him not using them but am I wrong?

Lots of complaining about waiting to use one on the run at the 6 minute mark which he did use. But having them to set up that play for Marcus and be able to switch defense for offense at the end is why Roy is so tight with them. Having one more at the end would have presented him with more options. Bet he wishes he would have had one more. Not saying it would have made a difference but it sure is nice to have options.

Think this is a perfect illustration of why he is so reluctant to use them during the middle portions of the game. I might not do it that way but I do understand it and I have never coached a college game so at this time, I will defer to Roy.

Roy can't win! He's bashed for not using his time outs, now he's criticized for using them. I really believe he was doing what he thought best under the circumstances.

I'm not bashing him I'm just saying I don't remember the last time he needed them and was out!

Agreed - criticize was too harsh on my part.

I thought Roy used them well at the end of the game, as he was subbing in offensive and defensive players. After Marcus hits the 3 to close it to 1 point, we are in great shape until that dumb foul by Hicks 30 ft from the basket.

I just wish he would've called the T.O. when Wisky went up 63-60 (or even 61-60) rather than let it go one more possession and we were down by 5 points.
