I'd just like to point out how much it pisses me off when movie posters like this don't put the actor/actress name above the proper picture if they have all of the actors pictured. Maybe @heelz2345 could enlighten me as to why they do that, if there's a reason.
It’s something that bugs me also. Generally speaking, the names at the top of a poster reading from left to right are the order of the movie’s billing. You would think it would be easy to just match the face positions to the name, however, they often like to have the top billed person in the center of the poster, so that’s part of it. In some instances, certain actors (or more specifically their agents) have clauses written into contracts that stipulate position or angle in promotional material, and those don’t always align with billing order either. So the short version is: there is no real rhyme or reason why they do it, but they do it and don’t care if it irritates people haha
