When l was a soph at unc (long, long time ago) my frat got together to pull a little stunt on the Pack football team and fans.
One of us had been High football mgr for local high school fball team whose colors were red and white. He told us he thought he could borrow some jerseys and pants.
We had one guy who was lall and dark complected like R. Gabriel, so we put #18 on him.
We dressed in one of the dorms across from Kenan and snuck through the woods to the gate on the visitors side. While sneaking up, all of these Wolfpack fans kept coming up to and patting us on the butt, telling us to 'beat those Tar Heels silly!
We had tipped off our head coach about the prank. He liked the idea.
After the Natl Anthem, we took the field ... and it was a sight to see!
The pack cheerleaders came to lead us on to the field turning cart wheels in front of us. We burst through their crepe hoop! The fans wentwild!
The whole North side of Kenan erupted in a huge roar?!!!
We proceeded onto the middle of the football field.
We did some dumb, feeble warm up exercises to make the red team look stupid.
We feared we might fire up the Pack so we got out of there as quick as we coud.
We went back to the dorm to change and when we got to our seats in the Student section we saw we lead 10-0.
So we had a couple drinks and sat back to watch the Heels blast the Pack 35-0!!!
