I have always been a true Heel in all sports however basketball has always dominated my fanhood. Usually I start football season off with hopes that this will be the year we turn it around and then by this time each year I am pulling up and reading anything related to basketball and counting down. I just realized this morning that that has changed. Of course winning helps but more than anything I love the mentality and toughness the football team is showing. I still can't wait for opening tipoff for ball but man what a great time to be a Heel (not to mention the success of the Olympic fall sports as well). Go Heels in all sports!!!

I agree completely and I usually feel we are just going through the motions in football by this time of year. I love that we are succeeding even though pundits still predict we will lose each game. We get little respect, but Fedora and Chizek seem to have the players playing with belief! Can't wait to see how we perform in our next BIG contest against the pukies, especially after they got robbed so heinously, lol.
Our football team is just plain FUN to watch! Other than that mess against SC we have played some mighty fine ball! And I do blame the Coaching staff on the SC mess. Q didn't have a very good day but my goodness, down on the goal line and Hood isn't even in the dern game! Oh well, been some great games since then and now ......................... Let's go whip some Duke Donkey as my old friend shun1 would say.
