No question Carolina is not going to the line as much as past seasons but to be fair the refs are not to blame as much as these factors are: None of the core four like to go hard to the basket other than Theo and Maye on occasion. Berry use to but even he has slowed down doing that.

With an almost non existent inside game except for Maye fighting for a rebound there is not much of a chance of a foul call in the lane.

And the most obvious the team including Maye have fallen in love with shooting the rock from downtown where fouls being called means basically you got knocked down.

Also we cannot forget playing a undersized front court will not get a ton of calls for over the back.

Driving to the basket seems to be the best of the 4 options here and anyone who watched the game know UNC finally went to the line late in the first half when Theo and Cam combined for 6 fts because of that.

Making some wide open layups might solve all of this disparity from the line but until that problem is resolved I fully expect the other four areas will either make or break this season...

Our 3-point shooting form needs adjustment if we're gonna get to the foul line. First and foremost, you have to fall down every time you shoot a 3-pointer. Kicking the legs out during the shot is also taught by some of the best coaches as this provides stability during the release.

I'm always for attacking the rim when possible. but we are still going to the basket pretty often. Hell, JB himself should have 3X the FTAs he has. Sorry, but there ain't but one place to look for the answer to that.

You forgot the head-whip and their favorite, the Offensive Flop.

You're right ... those are good moves too! Basketball 101. I'm surprised other programs don't incorporate these fundamentals.
Well... not everyone is blessed with such an upstanding leader of men to teach his fine gentlemen such honest play... COUGH, GAGGGH... sorry, I couldnt even say that sarcastically without throwing up in my mouth.:confused:

Certain refs dislike unc historically. Since the prolonged ncaa witchhunt others seem to have piled on. in football as well as basketball. Cannot address other sports as i rarely watch anything else.
