I don't see it, unless the ACC were proactive in making the league more valuable to media 'partners.' Losing FSU is the opposite of that. But if the ACC leadership could play that aggressively, and wisely with ESPN, it might be able to add schools that would help with that.

If I were ND football, I'd want to be in the ACC precisely to maximize my chances of playing in the CCG almost every year. An ACC without FSU would be wide open for ND to dominate, and thus be in the playoffs more than any SEC giant, more than Michigan or SC, etc. .
