😂 Fresh Start from the two best players left on this roster? If Styles and Love are gone as it has been floated, that only leaves Bacot, Davis, and Puff as the last bastion of "Roy's guys". Two of those guys will probably be our best contributors next year. Hell, with Leaky and Nance graduating, that makes Puff the next biggest contributor in terms of minutes played.

If the 3 best contributors on this team are these supposedly untalented Roy holdovers, then what does that say about "Hubert's guys" then??

But sure, I'm all for it lol. Let's kick the two best contributors to the curb so HD can get the fresh start he supposedly deserves. Probably a 15 win team next season with his "own guys" at best, but at least it speeds up the inevitable. The quicker we exhaust these endless excuses, the quicker we can actually start addressing the taboo subject that most people still want to dance around. That article's author included.

The talk of HD need to get his own players is ridiculous. He helped recruit all of these guys and the guys he recruited by himself after Roy left are the least talented on the team.

He wants to run off Armando Bacot and RJ Davis with his blog post on SaturdayRoad.com

That's about as dumb as it gets for a college basketball writer. RJ and Armando played excellent this season when they were healthy. They were not the problem this season. And if they both leave (especially Bacot) we are headed towards another season missing the NCAA. You don't run off your All American center, or the guard who played like an All American when his hand wasn't wrapped. You build around those 2 players to create a balanced, successful roster.

I'm blocking that dude's blog. That's just too much stupidity from one writer. And starting his blog off with "Mike Krzyzewski" just seems like trolling on an article that posted directly into the North Carolina section of the SaturdayRoad website. I mean, would any author from the North Carolina section of Rivals.com start an article name dropping Coach K??

I may not agree with his position, but he's one of the best in the business. He covers the ACC for Saturday Road, not just UNC.

And, since I've talked with him, he thinks UNC needs to start anew, which means an overhaul. I don't agree, but I don't think he's an idiot. The dude has won more than 100 journalism awards. Sometimes, people strike out.
