Nice tough-but-fair write-up.
What bothers me is the sense that these guys are totally blaming themselves and giving the coaching staff a pass.
Is that what they actually think? Maybe they don't think they are allowed to be critical of the coaching? I wonder what they might say off the record?
The thing is, if they feel it's all on them, we probably don't have much of a chance to go beyond the ACC tourney, but they might not transfer. Whereas if they think they could have done better with better coaching, some of our important guys might leave.
Cokes were 5 cents and TV was black and white when I was their age, so I have no idea how they process those ideas.

I think our players, even with their very limited basketball IQ, know that they screwed the pooch this season. But there’s zero doubt that the staff is also to blame for underachieving this season. I have no faith that they’ll make any kind of a run in the ACCT, let alone make the NCAAT. I wish I did but I simply don’t.
