Reportedly, central to the problem that grew up between Chizik and Malzahn was that Chizik felt that a hurry-up spread, getting off aplays as quickly as possible, hurt the D too much. Chizik wanted the speed of the offense varied - some snaps much slower, depending on the specifics of the game.

My guess is that Chizik will counsel Fedora to be judicious in quick snaps, especially with a D that is coming off such an awful season.
