GZ with minor wounds as it is described by police . . not a lot of info at the moment.

Trouble just seems to find some people....

Real professional of the Lake Mary PD to drop his name in a Tweet they sent out to the whole world. In no way am I defending the guy, but come on:

#zimmerman LMPD has responding to a shooting involving George Zimmerman. More information to follow

That is Effed - up big time . . .

Sorry to say this, he's either going to hurt someone or be the victim of a gun crime. It's only a matter of time.

Yeah, you may be right. Being forced to shoot a young punk who attacked you and is trying to kill you will mess you up in the head.

And we're off

71,

It ain't worth the time and effort to answer that post. When GZ kills again or is killed, it will be in the same type of confrontational event that he's been involved with over the past couple of years. Only then will he and those near him will have some peace.

Sure sounds like some in this thread think ole George will get what's coming to him because he has been in trouble for a couple of years. But, when someone with a rap sheet three miles long has something happen to him because of the police it's reason for protests and riots.

Yeah, those neighborhood watch types trying to protect their homes and lives from the Trayvons of the world are some bad seeds. How dare they be on the lookout for crime, and how dare Zimmerman still be walking around outside when "No Limit" decided to jump him.

ZImmerman does seem to have a knack for finding trouble, but that being said, I never thought he did a thing wrong in this case.

Except for the fact he was told by police to stay in his car and not pursue the subject.

Meh- standard police stuff. They will always tell you not to do anything at all in every situation so as to avoid liability and exert control.

Okay . . but, in the scheme of it all, what would have or wouldn't have happened had Georgey Boy just stayed in his truck and let the police handle the situation . . ? Likely nothing, no loss of life, no murder charges, no anything . .

Just a thought . .

For me personally, it just seems the situation escalated when it absolutely didn't have to . .

Yeah,

I guess its ok to disobey the police in his case. But not the others that you and I have discussed. Smh, yep the old double standard.

Absurd. Zimmerman wasn't breaking any law when the police told him to stay in his car, nor did he break any law when he got out of the car.

But just remind me- what were the others we discussed? Surely you aren't thinking of Michael Brown, are you?

Well, that's true, but if you lived in a neighborhood that had suffered a rash of break-ins and you were on neighborhood watch, wouldn't you want to also make sure that the police could stop and question a person who met the description of many of the suspects in the break-ins?

But I'm sure Zimmerman wishes now he had stayed in the truck. But it is easy to see why he got out and tried to follow.

If, I was that dependent on the police then I would have followed their instructions and stayed in the dayum truck . . just as they had advised me to.

Nah, police would have shot him.

The reason ol' Georgie didn't stay in his truck when the police told him to is because he's a fat-ass, POS, cop-wanna-be that went looking for trouble and he found it. Which is (not surprisingly) what he continues doing and it's what is going to get him KILT dead before too long.
