Been able to see Theo working out here lately at the gym and his shoots looks to have changed for the better he is more straight up and down now compared too last years him fading back.
I expect us around the top of the ACC in 3s this year
He will.shoot them and make them. He isn't the most consistent but he can be very streaky. Don't forget he shot 40% in HS.Theo is a 3 shot maker? When did that happen, am I sleeping, is this a dream? LOL
Oh he can. And Bradley won the 3 point contest at Mckee Dees.I have heard Maye can but don't think so. Didn't see it last year.

He doesn't need to be a "deadly" 3 pt shooter. He has confidence to chuck them and will hit them around 33% this year I'd bet.College ain't high school and untill his mechanics are ironed out he is not shooting nearly that in college. Let me ask you, I assume you watched Theo for the last 2 years play for us, is there anything about his shooting stroke that makes you believe he will suddenly become a deadly jump shooter? Maybe that can change and maybe it won't but what we have to base things on is what we have seen and not what we hope happens.
I hope Tony will be in the post when he and Kennedy are in the game together.I don't think Bradley will have the green light to shoot 3s limits what he can do if he's out that far . He not a real threat to blow padt someone. I can see him in the 15 -18 ft range though to give Meeks more space to operate down low
I've been calling for this for the past three years and haven't seen it yet so I'm not holding my breath. Not sure why we haven't utilized Kennedy's passing skills and ability to knock down the 15 footer, which he demonstrated amply in high school.I hope Tony will be in the post when he and Kennedy are in the game together.
How are Tony's hands? If he has good hands, we can take advantage of Kennedy's good passing by putting Kennedy in the high post.
I swear he was 1st in one of the contests. Maybe not that one.
I think it's mainly because Kennedy was in the game with guys who weren't well-suited for that. It requires guys who are good at parking near the rim or guys who are good at slashing to the rim to benefit from Kennedy's passing. Mac and Brice had different skill sets. But Isaiah can do either of those and maybe Tony can, too - or at least play close to the rim. I hope so.I've been calling for this for the past three years and haven't seen it yet so I'm not holding my breath. I think Brice was perfectly suited for it. Now perhaps you're right and Roy has tried it in practice and decided it wouldn't be effective. But having watched Kennedy for three years, I can't help but think his skills are perfectly suited for the high post role. It negates his lack of elevation and his trend to set up too low in the block, effectively allowing the rim to act as a second defender. He has a very nice 15 foot jumper, something he demonstrated over and over in high school. And he is a good passer.I think it's mainly because Kennedy was in the game with guys who weren't well-suited for that.
Those of us who have been calling for this may be overlooking the obvious. Maybe Roy evaluated Kennedy in that role and it didn't work out.
That said, I think this is the year where that would work the best, so I hope we see it.
I agree that it should have worked well with Brice as a senior. But the thing is that Brice didn't really need that kind of play. His quick leap and quick release suited him quite well pretty much wherever he got the ball within his range and no matter who got it to him. Isaiah should benefit much more having plays run for him that deliver him the ball as he moves toward the basket - which is what I'm picturing.I think Brice was perfectly suited for it. I still hold out hope that we'll see him in this role but it's looking less likely as time goes by.
