Agreed. I'd rather have the Heels come into the game with a chip on their shoulder. I think they would be more motivated and play better if it was Wisconsin.
Oregon wants to play at our tempo. That's why I'd probably want to face them. Kaminsky is going to foul out our entire frontcourt.
no doubt, that's why i wanted arkansas as opposed to wofford...i also agree about kaminsky...they are really well coached.
Either way, I like the Heels' chances. Wisky will require the most disciplined play on both ends. Oregon, meh. Anything can happen, but I would be more confident against Oregon than I was v. Arky.
My early prediction is we stay with Wisconsin for 30-33 minutes... But then they don't make mistakes down the stretch, we make a few and Wisconsin wins by 6 or so.
I hope we try to press them some and sped up the game a bit. Even if Wisconsin does break the press it seems they NEVER try to then take advantage of a secondary fast break. They always back it out. They want a game in the 50s. B what is to lose in pressing and trapping them.
Then if we just don't double off their three point shooters I think we can hold their offense down. Even Okafor wasnt enough to kill us inside and Okafor > kaminsky
I know it's easier to slow down a game than speed one up but I think we should try to be the aggressor vs letting them have us play man to man defense for 25+ seconds every possession. You know Roy hates that brand of basketball too

Yeah, I agree. I'm usually a perpetual optimist with these kids. And, I'm actually pretty pleased with another Sweet 16 finish. But, even if we have Meeks at 100% (which we won't), I don't think e can beat Wisconsin. In fact, I don't think it's going to be as close as you predict. I would love to be wrong and will gladly eat crow on the capitol steps in Raleigh if I am.
