Good For ECU

I'm split on this one. I don't really have a problem with the ones that continued to play while on a knee. While I don't agree with what they are doing, they have a right to do it. I do have a problem with the ones who stopped playing. It's their job to play and they should do it. They can protest before or after the game.

I don't have a problem with any of it. I don't agree with the band members protesting but it's their right. It's also the right of the ESPN station to not cover the games. That's what we call consequences for behavior. That's the best lesson those kids will get in college. I'm going to follow this story. Because it will get very controversial when the band director has to rescind scholarships and kick guys out of marching band - not because of their beliefs. But because they are costing the school money and exposure with their actions.

ECU or any university is basically the same as an employer , once you impact their bottom line they are going to act. The band incident started a firestorm on facebook according to my wife and most responses were "they better not call asking me for money"..
