Grass seed help

another random question (you’re welcome). Looking for the best grass seed for shaded areas and the best value for the money. I have mainly used Kentucky fescue, even though I hate the name. The area in question has never had grass just mainly leaves falling on it. TIA

I believe St. Augustine is shade tolerant.

Checked with Walmart and Lowe’s they don’t carry it. Maybe the secondary market.
