So nice to see the Coach K quote after their win last night over Wake in the paper today. Apparently poor Grayson was a victim of all of the negative attention in the game against Pitt, which affected his performance. He could tell that the poor kid was "affected" by everyone "making a big to-do" about his penchant to commit flagrant fouls. Allen is obviously just a misunderstood innocent bystander in all of this...

I wonder if this guy even believes half of the garbage he is saying.

Apparently Dana O'neil has a piece coming up on DSPN.com "analyzing" the Dook hatred. There's a clip of her and J Williams previewing it online. I watched the clip it's just a sniveling "we are the victims".

Local radio show here in Triad (Scott Hamilton Show) has speculated k steps down after next year. With the class he has coming and Jefferson now likely seeking medical redshirt he has pretty good shot to go out with another ring. And I threw up slightly as I typed that.

He's lost with "unbeatable" or prohibitive preseason title favorite teams before - '99, '02, and '06 come to mind. So hopefully that would happen again.

Dook's last two titles have ironically came in years that UK was the clear favorite. Id prefer Dook be the heavy favorites next year, last time that happened they were returning their two best players from their 2010 championship team, added Kyrie Irving, and got run out of the gym by Arizona in the Sweet 16. JJ Redick's senior season also comes to mind. The Dookies tend to underacheive when everyone is drinking their Kool-Aide
