Yea we been following it closely. Fortunately where we live we're not sourced by river but by underground springs. Still the reataurants and such use it though. Not sure what to think at this point.

My counties water is pumped straight out the cape fear. We drink mostly bottled water, but we cook and make sweet tea from the tap. Not counting my concern for my reef tank.

No. Some for new Hanover as well.

no...we own in surfside, but we are vacationing in kitty hawk and then holden beach(for the first time) in two weeks.

we always go to the outer banks but decided to do the other week somewhere new.

i called and got to the town hall spokesperson and she said the new test revealed lower levels...basically she said it was up to us as to if we brought bottled water to restaurants, but no warnings or anything as far as safety concerns...she then directed me to this:

Fyi, Holden beach is the quietest beach in the area.
