Barnes comes up big for the Warriors.

Sidebar: I've seen NBA refs protect superstars, but Good Grief... Lebron committed everything short of Murder-1 on offense and got away with it. No home cookin' in Game 1.

That travel call against Mozgov was turrible. It's a travel in college, but they never call that in the NBA.

Have to agree with you. Refs were letting Lebron do whatever he wanted to.

You have GOT to be f-ing kidding me. He double walked --- hopped on BOTH feet after establishing a pivot foot.
Now granted, Lebron traveled worse several times, but again, superstar treatment.
But complaining about that travel call??? Wow. Just wow.
There is a reason why the announcers railed the call and said how can you call that and not call it all throughout the game. That's commonplace in the NBA.

I agree that LeBron did charge at least 3-4 times as I saw it. He also traveled and got away with whatever he felt like doing it seemed. He is a very good player but he came up short again in Game One...

He is a great player but Bron Bron ALWAYS gets away with murder, he can do no wrong. As much as I'd like to see Cleveland win anything of significance, I can't pull for BB.

Even the announcers said Mozgov made a good move , Bogut had a blatant walk on a dunk that wasn't even close. I really didn't see any advantage for either team , just the same old tiresome NBA pushing , holding and wrestling as Rodney Dangerfield would say "I went to a basketball game and a wrestling match broke out".

This game wasn't decided by the refs and it is a shame to be talking about them after such a great Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Dubs have had the deepest bench all season long, and once again they were HUGE in this win last night. AI and Mo Buckets were game changers off the bench, especially the offensive lift Mo Buckets gave them when nobody was scoring, and the total all around game offensively and defensively that AI played.

Harrison also once again, as has been his legacy for the Warriors in his young career, made big plays at big times of the game (the 2 offensive rebound possession, and the huge 3 pointer in OT). So proud of this young man and the way he carries himself, steps up with no fear, is selfless, and embodies all that you want in a teammate.

Let's Go Dubs!!!

Without Love, Cleveland had it tough but this series was doable. Without Love and Kyrie? It's over.

The problem isn't that they called the travel, it's that they didn't call it throughout the game. 3 steps without dribbling, or switching your pivot foot, is a travel. It's ridiculous that the NBA game has become such a mockery of the rule book that people complain when a travel is committed and actually called, because we're all used to it going uncalled.

Even if Cleveland won that game, they weren't winning the series. The Cavs can't count on LeBron going for 45 in every game. He did whatever he wanted...and the Cavs still lost. I'll be surprised if this series goes more than 5 games.

Well, if he takes 38 shots every night, they can count on him going for 45.

They shouldn't want that, though. The cavaliers are better when he's scoring an efficient 25 and dishing out 10+ assists.

Just like Van Gundy mentioned last night, when JR Smith and Shumpert aren't involved for long stretches of the game, as was the case when Cleveland went all ISO with Lebron last night, those two guys fall asleep and don't wake up when you need them to. They have to be involved the entire game. Kudos to Kerr, Gentry, and the rest of the staff for sticking with single coverage on LeBron, and not allowing anyone else besides Uncle Drew from the Cavs to get in the flow of the game in the 4th quarter and OT.

Warriors made him work for that 45 and he was spent in the OT. They can throw so many athletic guys with good size to lean all over him. If Kyrie is out and with virtually nothing from Smith after the 1st half and if that continues it's gonna be the Warriors hands down. GS has so many good players and most can hit the 3. I think a lot of these guys thrive in that system and might not excel with another club. Phil Jackson made a crack on Twitter about how is the 3 point shooting team doing after Memphis went up 2-1 , I suspect Phil has been quiet ever since. If KT and Steph can match Lebron and if any of several other guys have a good game then it's over too. What ever happened to the other Curry?

He has become mom's sidekick cheerleader....

I think he's in Europe practicing his flopping.

Seth Curry's been going back and forth between the NBDL and NBA. Not that it means much, I think he actually finished runner-up for the MVP this past season.

To try and get this thread back on the right track Harrison Barnes was a big factor in the game and that corner three on o t pretty much sealed the deal for the Warriors...

Is this new to you guys?! Lebron has been the princess of the NBA for years and will continue to get preferential treatment. I never really thought it was actually a conspiracy for the NBA to have "the best" matchups work out etc. for money reasons but after seeing the refs first hand in the ATL - Cavs series....it's clear the NBA wanted Splash Bros v. Lebron.

Praying to God that Steph can bring this one home for GS and Lebron fails miserably...
