The Harvard admissions department has been accused of discriminating against Asians and Whites by applying a personality factor that is designed to award additional points to other races that they want more of in their school. The one Asian that they were able to find that scored positively on the personality portion of the admissions had confided that he was "grappling with sexual identity" which is thought to have given him the positive nod.

Thoughts? Is it good that schools have these admissions standards that penalize certain races in favor of others, or should those policies be banned?
