Coach K has been rightfully honored for being the winningest coach but has he done anything to impact the game? The debate of who was the best--Coach K or Dean Smith will continue but I think it comes down to honoring for wins or impact on the game. Smith was seen as an innovator and also a winner. Coach K's legacy is wins, which is not bad by any means. Or, is there anything else he has done to impact the game. Mastering the "one and done" philosophy doesn't count as Coach Cal started that!
