Love the response "they are the players we thought they were". I guess my question is how are we going to look while we play?
Are we sending the ball through Bacot, meaning looking for him first, and then breaking into other options, or are some of these new pieces a better option than Bacot or RJ. I would like to know how RJ's game is looking , I would like to see him shoot with less dribbles, and defend at a higher level.
Cadeau is interesting and also Trimble. I realistically would love for Cadeau to be K Marshall, and make all the right decisions with the ball, are we prepared for the turnovers that comes with a freshman guard, and has Trimble grown enough, and his defense is needed enough that he finds some quality minutes early in the season. I do think Cadeau will learn quickly, he still has to learn.
Bacot is a great Tarheel, but with this current roster is he prepared to have less plays ran for him, and for him still to produce the same numbers. Bacot could realistically average 15 and 10, and not be our focal point.
I'm ready to see Jalen Washington have a a healthy season and explode. After an over optimistic summer last year, I learned to hold off until I can at least see the team play together once.
