Heels Back In AP Top 25

Steat, may be favored in all 7, UVa has just lost 2 in a row. Their best 3 games (wins) we against #5 Baylor (their best win), #19 Ill, and un-ranked Michigan. They got Baylor early (nov 18 and Ill on Nov 20), while great wins early wins like those are not the same as later season wins, lot of big time programs start off a bit slow but when they crank it up watch out. They beat a really physical Michigan team in Michigan but Michigan has struggled early on, seem to be coming on as of late but there early season was sketchy.

IN addition, if you do not play UVa on a regular basis, their defense is extra hard to handle, that Pac man Tony Bennett teaches has teeth! But we already know and Hubert has already coached against it, most of our players have already played against it. I do think they are better than last season, they sure look like a top 3 in the ACC team but I think we will be better than last season if Bacot stays healthy. We got off to a slower start, in part due to trying out the 5 out nonsense, we are now back to the 4 out look we played last season and it has correlated to a 4 game win streak that may well extend to double digits.

Looks like so far UVa has only had 2 away games? Won the Michigan game and lost to Miami are the only 2 road games I see, rest were on their court? Seems like we have lived on the road, in fact all of our losses were on the road, one extended road trip that was embarrassing and VT where we got no practice after coming off that nasty road trip and having to travel to VT. After that VT game, we were able to practice and ditched the 5 out nonsense and have a nice win streak going on.

My point in this is should we be considered the under dawg when that game rolls around? I have NOT watched UVa play this season, want to make sure I add that.

If we play to our abilities, we should win all of them. But history says we’ll play down to the competition and drop at least one. Playing at UVA always worries me. There is no doubt that this is a stretch where we should make some hay.

6-1 would be great for this section of the season! Dunn and Washington getting 100% healthy and no further injuries would be better!

I'm looking for 7-0 though!

Play Hard, Smart, and Together and we will grow into a real problem!
