I assume this is due to portal moves and the like but it’s still disappointing.
I've lost a whole lot of respect and confidence in Huber Davis and his staff. It won't surprise me when he is inevitably replaced.
Seriously. What's the deal? Maybe a mass exodus and guys just want to get out of there.

i’ll say this. i don’t love the move but it IS the right move IF Hubert is going to clean house and usher the likes of Caleb Love and any others out the door. If he pulls this move and we return and do the exact same shit again next year, he should be fired after year 3. bottom line.

This is pretty much the level of accountability I would expect from this group. Weak, weak, weak. You “earned” the NIT spot - go play, even if it is minus some transfers. Lord knows the bench guys could use the experience. We as fans deserve better than a canned statement about this, in my humble opinion.

I can't imagine Dean being anything other than ashamed about this decision. I would think Roy would be disappointed too since he accepted the invite last time.
I'd be ok with seeing the bench players get waxed in the NIT (and maybe they wouldn't) than not go at all. I'd actually be more inclined to watch if it were the bench players.
And I'm perfectly ok with every starter leaving, including Bacot and RJ. If you don't want to play now, no need for you to play later.

I'm telling you I wouldn't be surprised if 5 or 6 of the top 8 players are leaving!
Total question of ignorance, but whose decision is it to play? Does the coach ask the players? Do they have a say?

Can't say I'm surprised. We hired a guy with zero leadership experience all because he had a degree from here. Arrogance is in our blood.
