It's pretty cool how similar this backstage version is to the original recorded almost 50 years ago! (minus the fiddle, of course).

@strummingram , for Christmas my wife got me this book. I've been going through and re listening to each song and album through a good pair of headphones. It's pretty cool to pick up on some stuff that I never heard before and get a better understanding of the meaning behind the songs. Also developing a greater appreciation for Brian Jones talent before he went over the edge...

You need two more. Both of these are freaking awesome!

And, the other one is more for the gear-head, like me. But, it's very cool. The Stones apparently keep almost all of the instruments they have ever acquired over the decades. They rarely trade them off or loan them out. They stay in the "vault." There are a few exceptions. I think Brian's Teardrop Vox belongs to the Hard Rock Cafe (or, it once did). But, this book analyzes all of their stuff. I love it!
