Well, the fact is we don't know what kind of citizens they were because they were never given a trial. Do you really want this kind of shit here in the US?
Of course not, but I do respect someone who doesn't put up with shit and I believe this treatment damn sure makes future criminals think long and hard before committing their crime.
From a controlling crime standpoint, absolutely. But you asked if I would support someone like that running this country, and there's obviously more that goes into that equation. They are different scenarios.
We've been over this. It all depends on your interpretation -- it is Biblical to protect those who cannot protect themselves. If criminals do not fear or respect you, they will continue doing what they do. It's not rocket science.

I would support Roman-style publicized, brutal execution of criminals in the U.S. Really make someone think twice before they decide to kill, rape, etc.

Well I feel peace and love inside me. Criminals don't make me angry, they make me feel sad for them. Sad that they have made choices that are not positive. I'm not saying they don't deserve punishment but I wouldn't bring harm to them, that would bring some negative vibes to me then. I choose not to be the same as them.

My opinions on how this country should be run =/= my views on person-to-person interactions. The government should ideally do these two things when dealing with violent criminals:
1. Institute and maintain an effective legal system that quickly and accurately levies a sentence of guilty or not guilty, based on a just, honest court trial.
2a. Release the not guilty and expunge all hints of a trial from their records.
2b. Ruthlessly and expediently punish -- killing, if applicable -- those who receive guilty verdicts. Make a constant example out of violent criminals to persuade the populace not to commit those crimes in the future.
2b works in the Middle East so I guess we could adopt their ideology a bit. Chop hands off, hanging, firing squad, etc. why not
